Shelby River Bends Park
A diverse assortment of animals and a wide variety of plant-life make their home on the over 870 acres of River Bends Park. A number of events including the 5K Walk/Run, Annual Kid’s Day, Fireworks Celebration, and Easter Egg Scramble.
Paint Creek Trail
The trail is used by walkers, cyclists, joggers, equestrians, nature observers and photographers. The trail follows the old Penn Central Railroad up the Paint Creek Valley through highlands, pastures, and wetlands. Trail also utilized for cross-country skiing.
Stony Creek
With 4,461 acres of prime recreational lands, this top-rated park's scenic, hilly terrain surrounds beautiful 500-acre Stony Creek Lake. Park features include a nature center, a hike-bike trail, beaches, and an 18-hole regulation golf course.
Metro Beach
Metro Beach Metropark features a one-mile shoreline and a 1,600 foot boardwalk on picturesque Lake St. Clair. The park features a swimming pool, spray park, marinas, nature center, Par-3 golf course, adventure golf and picnic areas.
West View Orchards and Cider Mill of Romeo Nestled in the rolling hills of Romeo, offering visitors a day filled with "Fond Family Memories" of old-fashioned fun. The 188-acres of award-winning orchards and fields produce enough to keep the Farm Market filled from July through April.
Yates Cider Mill
Water powered since 1863. Bag your own apples, pick out a pumpkin and enjoy the Michigan countryside in beautiful Rochester Hills. Children will enjoy the petting farm daily and weekend pony rides.
